Turnigy SK3 brushless motors are yet another step forward in motor evolution.

Once again we instructed our engineers to develop a motor that would not only rival but surpass the quality of the leading motors on the market today using the best quality magnets, bearings, and materials available.

The result is an outstanding series of motors that are efficient, strong, and robust enough for the most discerning modeler.

All of the SK3 series use quality double-shielded bearings, sintered neodymium magnets (the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available), and a string wound stator to ensure accurate and consistent winding each and every time.

The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a top-quality brushless motor without compromise.

Features:
• Double shielded bearings
• Sintered neodymium magnets
• String wound stator
• High-quality finish
• Super-smooth operation

Good motor, inexpensive, reliable

Aug 06, 2022

Smooth and reliable, won't break the bank and has proven reliable in many of my aircraft. I don't overload the motor with over-propping or over voltage, and the motors are giving good service.

This little motor has been a real workhorse for the last two years in my Yellow Jacket 2m sailplane. Plenty of power to get it up to 200m quickly at ALES events. Even eating a little gravel hasn't slowed it down much, although I'm sure it would perform better if I cleaned it.

Used on a Phoenix 2000 glider. After 5 flights, I tryied to put full throttle for 1mn. The motor overheted and burned.

Only three flights so far but pleased. Use it on a 400g Crack Yak Big from RC Factory together with a YEP 20A ESC. Very smooth and fast response, the Yak climbes effortless using 10x4.7 so far but have 10x3.8 to be tested as well.
So far I recommend it. Only negative is that shaft the wrong way for most planes so prop saver cannot be used.

Better than NTM motors, works great with my Q450, 3S 2650mah lipo, 10X4.5 cheap props and SimonK flashed 30 ESC's (and you can get replacement bearings!)
