Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival, but surpass the quality of many leading motor manufactures on the market today.
The result is an efficient, high caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time.
The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a qualitymotor without compromise.

Used on a Phoenix 2000 glider. After 5 flights, I tryied to put full throttle for 1mn. The motor overheted and burned. Only three flights so far but pleased. Use it on a 400g Crack Yak Big from RC Factory together with a YEP 20A ESC. Very smooth and fast response, the Yak climbes effortless using 10x4.7 so far but have 10x3.8 to be tested as well.
So far I recommend it. Only negative is that shaft the wrong way for most planes so prop saver cannot be used.Better than NTM motors, works great with my Q450, 3S 2650mah lipo, 10X4.5 cheap props and SimonK flashed 30 ESC's (and you can get replacement bearings!)Havent yet run these but they seem okay. I would buy these over Tmotors anydayI have a number of sk3's in the 28mm range and have found them to be well designed, 'pretty',and quite robust and durable. I have plowed them into old tera ferma many times and have been amazed that, except for a few scratches, they have come through to fly again. Their cost is a bit more but you get what you pay for with sk3's. Power to size and weight is excellent also. Great price too- compare at your LHS and this motor would run $30 to $40. Thanks Turnigy and HK for another fine product.Very nice. Combined with HK 12A Blue ESCs and 8x4.5 props on a 550mm DIY stick quad. The frame, bare, came out to 230g. So it is a light quad. The motors are barely warm to the touch, same with the ESCs. Flight time is decent. the motors have been consistent performers over 7-8 sessions. No odd behaviors or sounds. Thanks.I was a little concerned about this motor after I placed my order, but that all changed once I sent my bird on its maiden flight. I installed this motor on the hummer epp 3D plane which weighs about 450 grams. After the maiden, (8-10 min of flight), I checked my set-up for heat, and everything was cool to the touch. Overall, I am very happy with this motor. It is a nice little efficient package for my set-up. I am running it with a 3cell 1100 man batt, a 25-30 esc (over the top), and a 1047SF prop.Ich habe 6 dieser Motoren bestellt. Innerhalb von krzester Zeit mit GLS geliefert. Verwendet werden sie in einem Hexacopter. Als Prop benutze ich einen Standart GWS Slowfly von HK.
Die Motoren sind ausgezeichnet gewuchtet und von sehr guter Qualitaet.iuse them on my mini quadcopter works great no bearing issues runs flawless
