Used in my 90mm F/A-18 in a Freewing fan and added cooling fins (standard 36mm heat sink glued on with JB weld glue). Well over 50 flights on 6S high C rated batteries with no problems! Draws close to 1600watts and produces 2.2Kg thrust in the plane. It required no balancing at all. I can't believe this small motor can take over 75A without smoking or overheating! Great budget motor and 60g lighter than many 36mm inrunners.

a complete disappointment.

I'm surprised who satisfied with this engine because I bought 3 pieces of this motor and they all burned.

2 engine burned on the first try.

I used this motor with 90 mm fan and 6 S lipo. It drew 60 amps full throttle.

windings of the motor contact with the rotor when motor is warmed.

the coil separated from the can with less then 5 min of run time, 30 inch cat with m445 for prop on 4s lipo, should have been well within the limits for this motor, What happened with mine hobby king?

i run this motor in my savage flux stock gearing (20/44) with MMpro, 3s lipo & 5s lipo. For street run this motor ok. After third run on street, i test at sandy beach area, this motor failed after 15 minute, temperature only 62C not exceed 75C when fail. For the price, i will buy again to test with another gear setup.

i run this motor in my savage flux HP (stock gearing) with MMpro. Try it with 3s and 5s lipo. For street run this motor can survive. But try it on seaside sandy area this motor failed after 15 minutes only with 3s, when check the temperature only 62C not even exceed 75C. I give 3 star due front and rear motor plate have 4 hole and can catch dirt if offroad used. The motor shaft have to trim to give flat area to screw pinion gear. For the price i will buy another and try with another gear setup.

This motor is an absolute pig...........power out the wazoo! Perfect motor on 4s for a boat in the 25-30" range. These motors run cool as well..........im sure due to the vented endbells as well as the watercooling in a boat. Great motor 5 stars!
