More than just a fancy name.Bolt series lithium polymer batteries are built with a LiCo nano-technology substrate complex and an all new CNT (carbon nano tube) additive greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.
LiHV stands for “High Voltage Lithium Polymer”. These batteries have been around for years and can be safely charged to 4.35V, higher than the typical voltage of Lipos.
The advantages of LiHV batteries are the higher power and longer running times. LiHV batteries can be charged to 4.35V per cell, higher than normal LiPo batteries which sit at 4.20V. For example, a 4S LiHV pack charged at 4.35V would give you 17.4V. Whereas a Lipo battery on the same charge would only get 16.8V. LiHV batteries also have a lower internal resistance and are less prone to "puffing".

This is a great betterynive been using in the hobbyking dh100 vampire. However be aware that to balance the model you need 365 grams of battery up front....perfect you might think as the specs say 355g.....NOPE
This only weighs 266....great for lightness ,but lousy because i now have to carry dead weight or buy another batteryI have 3 of these, they work well. They have over 20 cycles each and holding up. They sag more than I expected for a 65C battery. I used them in a 70mm EDF jet and used them in 270mm Quads. I had a spectacular crash in the quad racer and the battery is still going. The weight is actually much less at 265g.Loads of amps. ESC s bewareI have three of these batteries. I use them in the new HK P40. After light use only and 1amp charging one of them is becoming puffy. Not a good sign as these are not cheap batteries. They do work well and yes I bought the correct charger from HK for this battery to enable charging to a higher voltage. Only used them a few times so time will tell how well they last.This is the best battery I ever use!
Extreme high voltage at a high current.
I use it in my Durafly EFX Racer with a NTM Prop drive 35-36A 1800KV and a APC 7x8 pylon prop. Current is round about 100A. The power expansion is incredible. Buy it!Wow, these Batteries are really powerfull. Lots of amps drawing and still good voltage and better performance cvompared to 30 or 40C on EDf an Inrunner motors. Highly recommended productMit diesen Akkus wird mein Invertix so richtig schnell.
Super Akkus mit sehr geringem Innenwiderstand. Kann ich nur empfehlen!
