The Turnigy Multistar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximising Multi-rotor performance! They feature high-end magnets, high quality bearings and all are precision balanced for smooth running, these motors are engineered specifically for multi-rotor use.

These Multistar outrunners have been specifically designed from the ground up for multi-rotor use and are not based on aeroplane motors.

The Multistar V2 versions of these fantastic motors now come with a removable conventional type prop adapter and a flat adapter for 2 hole fixing types of propellers.

I was running this on 6S in a 500 size helicopter. Regardless of gearing or timing settings, it wouldn't make any worthwhile power. Strangely it didn't even get hot when over geared and bogging badly, nor did the esc. It just wouldn't turn electricity into fun. Swapped it out for an Emax of similar size and Kv and now the heli is insane. The build quality and hardware set is nice though.
