    More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

    Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;

    • Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

    The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

    These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

    Very good battery. I use this for my Alien 560. No voltage drops.It corresponds to the nominal capacity, and maybe even a little more. The only thing that I have done - is to solder the XT60 connector

    I own 2 of these now, just ordered a 3rd! Only had one dud out of the box but HK was quick to give credit to replace the product :)
    I'm running this on a 7 pound hexacopter with 11x4.7 props and 700kv motors, fly time is about 6 minutes...not great, but a heavy hex

    I don't know if the quality control is going down on these batteries - but have had a 33pcnt failure rate on my recent purchases. - 2 out of 6 batteries have had total failure of one cell after 2 and 3 cycles respectively. No puffing, just virtually zero voltage on one of the four cells a day or so after a perfectly normal balance charge. The packs had been treated gently for the few flights they managed (50 - 80pcnt discharge and less than 1C recharge rate).

    I have had 40 of these batteries over the last couple of years in capacities of 4000mAh, 4500mAh and 5000mAh and only one other similar failure.

    width on mine were 48mm (not 50mm) as listed, which is a good thing.

    I bought 2 of these from the AUS warehouse. Both are poorly matched packs, the balancer shuts off the charge. I have to leave them to balance for sometimes 2 hrs before I can charge them. I've purchased a lot of NanoTech batteries and they have all been great apart from these two. You've disappointed me HK, lift your game.
