This Car is OK, no Parts missing, the Build is Easy, i Build it in One Night, at 4.30 AM i Turned the First Rounds around the Table.. But at the First Drive Outside The Body Cracked in Pieces after a little Collision, the Lexan of the Body is very thin and it Brakes easily, but the Bumper is Soft and is still OK. And at the First Run there was a Crackling Noise, the Driveshaft wasnt Centered good in the Outdrives, i solvered this Problem with Pieces of 2mm long Pieces of Nitro Fuel line in the Outdrives, so the Driveshafts are Centered and fit perfect. The Kit Version is better, because in the Kit are some good Upgrade Parts, that the Ready Version doessnt have, Aluminium Shocks and a Graphite Battery holder.

Overall, in my opinion this is great truck for light bashing.
Looking at the quality of the material, everything flexes enough to take some bashing (not like traxxas or other super-rigid materials, but for the price very good).
As you may think: this is (out of the box) definetly NOT a racer or hardcore basher, it's a fun car made for driving for fun.
Pros:
good materials for the price
ball bearings (except for the stearing)
durable tires
drive train should not have problems with a brushless
everything included (oils, grease, ...)

Cons:
- Rear skidplate needs reenforcement
- the body needs some reenforcement AND other trim than stated (not trimmed)
- setup like in manual has quite funny handling ;)

So, in a bang-for-the-buck ration, it's a fantastic car to chase around a bmx-track, country lane or you garden.

Easy-to-build, well-designed and strong vehicle structurally. Nice looking truck once complete. Allows for experienced drivers an affordable and comparable alternative to the Slash.

this car is awesome, went together easily, nothing unexpected, handles awesome, jumps good, is fairly durable.

only part ive broken so far is rear skid plate and that was jumping probably 8 metres and landing flat, with the car vertical. so would suggest getting a spare gearbox mount, skid plate, just in case.

the car is very smooth, grease everything you can also.

i used the turnigy 4000kv waterproof brushless combo in this and it was faster than slash 4x4 vxl on 3s, and on 2s its very quick on the track.

thanks again hobby king!

Received my kit SCT the other day and coundn't wait to start builing it. On opening the box I could see this kit is of a high quality and has been well packaged for transport and all parts bags named.clearly. Comes with clear and well set out and easy to follow instructions. Alittle time consuming and fiddly but other wise an awesome kit car to buildand much fun to be had.

A great car for a great price!
But carefull, there is some flaw that you should consider before buying it

1) the body is way to fragile, just throw it in the trash, really...
2) tire are very soft and look like crawler type, pretty decent but the inner foarm is totally crap and must be remplaced !
3) Based on the Kyosho ultima, he got the same weak points, so the rear shaft drive bend too easily (after my first 2S pack...) and the front and rear arm must be remplaced by aluminium one's
4) the differential box is too tight, you should put a rubber seal or a spacer (not included)

For about 130USD (options included), you get a very good racing SC chassis which is equal with the AE sc10rs.

Plastics are very good and you got plenty of extra screw and pin shock oil, grease and thread lock!
It's a entry level SC competition but this car is way better than some RTR (Tr****s) which cost 300-400bucks...

Overall, i'm very pleased with this car, just don't forget that it's need some minor work and adjustement to be a great SC

i just built this truck. it went together very well. the quality seems very good for the price, even the shocks are good with the right oil. I read a lot of reviews about this truck and i feel if your not looking to do professional racing with it it will be fine out the box with standard gear, i spent more on stainless steel fasteners for this truck than what the kit cost, but i live by the sea and rust is a problem for me. building it was fun and i would even build another for my son or brother. how do they do it at these prices?? 5 stars!

Yes the body is an easy one to crack, but it is just fine if it is kept off the walls. The main problem is not having others take you out in a race. All my bodies are 60 thousandths. I am pleased with the way the SCT responds to small changes in the race set up. I have yet to race it with a late model body though. I don't like the little black 12mm adaptors for the wheels. I use the aluminum ones. Not a bad deal for the money, but some mods. to the chasis make it a whole lot better.

Great price, nice budget kit, goes like a rocket on 2s with the 80A track star combo not even tried 3s yet, my one grip is putting machined screws into plastic, I'm sure it should be self tappers when going into plastic, but otherwise great little car.
