Take the guesswork out of getting your power system optimized with the Turnigy Thrust Stand and Power Analyser v3. This handy tool lets you check out your motor/propeller combinations easily at home without needing to install anything into a model until you've finalized the setup.


The v3 is equipped with a full suite of analytic software to measure Volts, Amps, Watts, rpm, kv, Amp hours, Watt hours, peak Amps/Watts, min voltage and more. The backlit LCD screen displays the measured parameters in an easy to read format with the thrust value being displayed in a separate screen.


A built-in throttle control allows you to use the stand without needing your transmitter and is able to handle a wide variety of motors and measure up to 5kg of thrust to within 10g.


A unique feature of the v3 is the ability to select the number of poles to match the motor being tested via a button on the front face.


It has been designed to be as robust as possible. All components including the heavy duty mounting base are made from CNC machined aluminum alloy. Holes are provided in the base to secure it to a table or workbench easily.


Included in the box are two different sized motor mounts to take motors from 11mm up to 56mm diameter and a variety of standard sized adapters to connect the motor and ESC.

Great tool for the bench.
Test your electrics befor installing in the model. Great for testing performance of different prop combinations. Only limitation is size of prop that can be used is 8in due to height of the prop mount. You need to position unit over edge of table to used larger fixed props. So not good for folding props over 8in.

The thrust stand is great, I am a nerd at heart and want to know how, why, and get results so I can make decisions based on real knowledge.
I get comparison info on props, ESC's, ESC motor timing and the motors quick and easy. Now I know what I'm really running in static before running telemetry and can log the info in my notes for future selections when setting up a new airplane design and choosing equipment.

This test stand works great but the manufacturer assumes that the user knows a lot about electronics, lipo batteries, connections, soldering, etc. as there is no knowledge about that anywhere is the very little instructions that come with it. Because I am new to electric flying I struggled to figure out how it works. Once I got past that part I found this is going to be a very great tool in testing electric motors for flying or surface vehicles, and just plain having fun. I did a lot of research on the internet and this unit is the least expensive but also the best of any of the test stands out there. You won't be disappointed.

Unit arrived quickly from the Oz warehouse, fully assembled, instructions good enough to get started. Worked perfectly out of the box and will be a great addition to the workshop. Users should note that the KV reading is only meaningful at zero load, full power - ie no prop.

In total it is a good product. It has its limitations in motor size and sometimes it seems to be false data on the screen but in steady state it does the job. The manual is not sufficient enough and you can to retro fit to fit it best but still it is good for basic needs.
