Just when you thought that all multi-rotor frames looked the same...the Y-3 appeared on the scene and is breaking all the rules! Featuring fiberglass construction with ply reinforcement, the Y-3 is super rigid yet lightweight. Its high gloss paint job is impressive to look at making it really stand out in the air.
This is the first fiberglass Y-3 multi-rotor frame on the market today and is very unique. It will be sure to turn heads at your local flying site. It even features mounting grooves for LED light strips on top and bottom, making it perfect to setup for night flying as well!
The Y-3 arrives in KIT form with all required hardware included. You will simply need to add your own brushless motors/ESCs, multi-rotor control board, micro tail servo and lipoly battery. The Y-3 is mostly pre-built making it quick and easy to get in the air.

very crazy build, tuning the FC was a bit tough but so worth itDas Design ist Klasse, man kann die Fluglage sehr gut erkennen. Mngel konnte ich nicht feststellen. Klebungen, Mechanik und Lackierung ist alles in Ordnung bei meiner Lieferung.

Have one and i might say that is a very good balanced frame, offering a lot of space for big motors like the hexTronik DT750 Brushless Outrunner 750kv, easy access to flight controller and battery compartiment. Overall a Beauty!!!Okay, I have a small issue with this bird, and it appears that many people have small issues with it. So, quality could be improved. Having said that, I love this bird! She's the new queen of the fleet, and I'm finding myself spending lots of time with her. I've loaded the FC up with MPNG, made a homemade platform for the GPS module, which looks very stealthy, mounted 505 RGB LEDs top and bottom, with a controller on a separate 350 mAH battery, Turnigy Aerodrive D2830-11 1000kv motors, which are adequate, if not stunning as far as power and speed goes. And the de riguer TGY-306G-HV servo at the yaw. I've also cannibalized my Hubsan X4 for it's HD camera, which is mounted at the fore. Pretty tricked out, and I'm probably not finished. I also plan to add nav lights, beacons and strobes. I might also mount some lasers...no, I'm not kidding...muahahahahahahaha!i love this model it fly great i put the k2.1 board and 3 e flight 400 motor in it with 3 turnigy 30 amps speed control... As for the build not too bad i got in done in no time the only thing i wish it had was a back cover to hide the motor in the back but for the price no worries thanks hobbie king good job on this one..Kit looks very good on the first view.
But on second view shows poor quality. The bulkhead for the tilt mechanism was glued in twisted. You need to install a spacer on one side (6-7mm) to get the tilt mechanism installed properly. In addition, the alloy bulkhead and motormount of the tilt mechanism are miss machined.Only one bore to install the motor. The other 3 are not cut properly.
In sum, a lot of rework needed to get all the quality issues fixed.
Hk, you need better quality inspectionReceived my C3 tricopter and I am very impressed.It is lightweight strong and well thought out I am installing the electronics and can not wait to fly it.
