The ZD Racing 1/8th scale 4WD Rocket RC-8 is a large, good-looking, impressive rally car. It is packed full of the features you have come to expect from ZD Racing and is only usually seen in a much more expensive vehicle. It is almost ready to run with a powerful 3660-2150KV brushless motor, splash-proof 80A ESC with BEC, and a 9kg high-torque servo for the steering. It is no slouch in the speed department either, it has excellent acceleration, and speeds of up to 90km/h are possible. The handling is also awesome due to its low center of gravity, it is precise, and predictable making it the perfect partner for rally-cross driving.
The features of the Rocket RC-8 include an all-metal drive train, large 16mm adjustable aluminum alloy oil-filled shocks, and metal-geared front, rear, and center differentials. Other features a T6061 aluminum chassis, a whole host of orange anodized metal parts including the shock towers, rally-style high-grip tires, and a splash-proof receiver box. The bodyshell has lots of scale details including side mirrors, a windscreen wiper, and a stylish rear wing, sponsor decals finish of the very attractive red and black color scheme.
The ZD Racing 1/8th Rocket RC-8 is a must for all those who want a large, fast, and very impressive rally car that will thrive on rally-cross tracks, or just bashing about on the local car park. Long run times can be expected with a 3S 3000mAh LiPo battery (not supplied) to provide you with loads of time to enjoy this fantastic rally car.
