Walrus is a good flier and a sturdy plane. I love mine and it has given me many enjoyable flights. Can easily fly 12+ min with some glide from altitude.

Good plane with awkward assembly!

Straight forward motor glider with a pleasing glide performance too for its size. The assembly is a little more complicated regarding receiver installation. The shoulder wing assembly and servo leads routing actually prevents easy wing dis-assembly. So once built, leave it!

I've just purchased a second Walrus. Sadly the original was lost recently in a Lithium battery fire in my workshop, which destroyed all my models. I had been flying my Walrus for at least 5 years.
I decided I couldn't continue flying without a walrus. I tried to buy one from the UK warehouse but no stock, so I bit the bullet and used the USA warehouse and put up with the transport cost.
How glad I was I took this path! Within a week, Fedex man was on my doorstep and I had a well packaged Walrus totally undamaged and it didn't take long to assemble, easier than I remembered the first one and the stickers were bright and crisp making the whole plane look attractive. Frsky radio gear installed, mixer programmed and 3S2200mah lipo installed and we were ready to launch.
The day was clear and sunny but rather a stiff wind blowing. Normally I would have held off flying but I wanted to maiden my new Walrus! Off she went into the blue head on to the stiff breeze but the walrus flew well straight away, although bounced around a bit by the turbulent air. She flew well and is a worthy replacement for my fire wrecked original. I'm a happy bunny with my go-to new Walrus!

Good glider

Although it is a glider but it can fly faster n has good control response. Can also be used to learn aerobatics. The build quality in the main boom and bottom of fuselage can be better.

Disappointed

Well, I must say I was a little disappointed with this model. I’ve had a previous model with creases in the end of the wings where they have been damaged during shipping but this one was fine in that respect. The issue was down to the decals on the model, they were a bit wrinkled and required sorting and sticking back down.
