Tested it yestoday for flight time..2 times and both with 1800mah nanotech 3s 25-50c..first flight i flew on half throttel or just a littlebit more the hole time,no tricks or anything,flighttime was 24 minuts..2 battery(same model) i flew as usual half/full and so on with the trottle,i flew 17 minuts..an of course both times in almost no wind.
So great flight time with these battery..

Nice product,,assemble is easy with only small faults,,(nothing big) flyes great and easy to fly,,recommeded for beginners,,

tryed 3 diffrent batterys 1.3-1.8-2200mah,and no problems with any off them,,actuly i think that the 2200mah was the best,,so wery pleased with this plane..cam is ok but bad sound on it ,,but WHO cares with the sound of a noisy propeller,,so all in all,would buy Again if i break it to mutch,,

Actuly it blow of the bed of my truck at the way home up in the air and landed on the Wheels and still in pref,shape,,STUNNING

Anybody that has built a plane before will have no problems putting this one together. A beginner may have to manhandle the landing gear to get it installed. An ounce had to be placed on the instrument panel to get the cg right, a heaver battery would eliminate this.
The power package that came installed is more than enough to cruise this plane. It flew well and as expected. Loops, rolls and inverted flight were no problem. It slowed down for a nice landing.
I would have given 5 stars but my camera did not work.

i received it today didn't fly yet .but it looks very nice beautifull hard to fix , wing road. and very bad rubber band two broke in testing wings canopy has very sensitive lock system also very funny camera i got it with pregnent battery i will buy one from local market and moter ecs seems toy not much power. i will upgrade motor and ecs but over all this is nice

Flugverhalten sehr angenehm und stabil. Bei leichtem Wind noch angenehmer als bei Windstille. Macht totalen Spa! Flugbild sehr schn...

Ich finde allerdings, dass die Konstruktion des Rumpfes und vorallem des Fahrwerks dringend berarbeitet werden msste.

Das Fahrwehrk - besonders das Rad vorne ist zu schwach dimensioniert. Bruch / Verbiegen ist vorprogrammiert. Und da das Bugrad mit dem Seitenruder-Servo verbunden ist, kann es auch passieren, dass bei unsanfterer Landung, bzw. Landung in hherem Gras der Servo durchgeschlagen wird.
Glcklicherweise sind die Ersatzteile nicht allzu teuer.

Die bei meinem Flieger mitgelieferte Kamera war leider ein Montagsmodell(Verarbeitung)...aber ich habe sowieso vorgehabt mit einer anderen Actioncam zu filmen und der Flieger hat genug Leistung um meine Kamera ohne Probleme huckepack auf der Flche mitzunehmen.

Fazit: Vom Fliegen her also total gut und zu empfehlen - wegen der Qualitt der Konstruktion gibt es aber wieder etwas Punkteabzug.

The plane it,s self flies really well, I even forced it into a successful loop but it needed to start with a good old dive to get it through, though :) I did have to trim the wheel pant apertures with a hobby knife so the tires didn't jam against them, and the rubber bands for the wings mostly all broke while I was fitting them for the first time. I recommend dropping $5 on a bag of 8" wing bands from a rc plane parts manufacture before you fly.

HOWEVER, I have only given it 3 crowns for quality, as it is advertised as a camera plane, and that is why I bought it. As many customers have noted (from other reviews and questions) the included camera does not work. When hooked up to USB charging, the camera functions as a web cam when turned on but disconnected from the USB it would not turn on. I even disassembled it and tried a different micro SD card, and replaced the battery with a single cell that I knew was good to no avail. HK needs to address this issue as the camera is a unique size, even for a keychain cam, so to even fit the equivalent in the Turnigy range would of required a lot of ugly hack and slash.

All in all, if you want a large, easy to see, easy to fly high wing 4Ch trainer, it's cool. Flies nice, easy to taxi as the steering nose wheel makes it just as easy as a really weird looking car to maneuver on the ground.

I have bought this one, the camera doesn't work, also was missing wiring Y harness out of the box, feel like a noob but i can't get the throttle onto the left stick of my controller too. Its this radio combo http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=16255 i bought with it too. Do i plug all steering servos into the one spot on the rx to get it all on one stick? or do i need the cable to config the controller differently? Other than that the plane looks good, shame i cant fly it yet, also need to sort out a new camera.

Had a problem with the motor it would not run,I thought I had stuffed up the speed control,brought a new one ,same result,found out one of the bullet connecters was not soldered properly, soldered and every thinks fine,so it goes to show to check every thing

The scout is quit good itself but the camera did not work returned it today
Had a problem with the motor looks like the speed controller is stuffed ordered a new one could have been my fault i don't no ,
the plane itself i like it,could be great to fly
