Kit is definitely a bettet valve....u get updated.. 49t center diff, sway bars...it just needs better cva's. Ive been snapping links since day one

Bought this because of the low price and alloy upgrades already included. Unfortunately this car has some inherent issues that are hard to solve. The lower arm ball joints pop out at any impact. The drive shafts crack easily at the CVD pins. Parts are good price but sometimes not in stock. The car handles great and if you like to tinker its a nice car. Keep it on the ground or grass and start saving up for tires. Not for beginners.

The center differential has two doubles of hinges, which grind the gears hard but the performance is very good
I would like to assemble carefully.

Right wheel was very wobbly upon arrival and a rear diff cup had broken edges. 3 out of 4 shocks are leaking from the caps no matter what I do... I bought 40 days ago and my replacement parts still haven't arrived. Hobbyking support was very helpful but the fact that parts needed to be backordered prolonged the process a lot. wouldn't recommend Berserker for that amount of money.

What an amazing car!! Carbon fiber, aluminum is everywhere, so so pretty and strong. I run it on 2000kv on 4s with the small pinion. Great power. It took literally 2 business days and a weekend to get from HK to east coast USA!!!! Only issue so far is that screws are coming undone. There is a set screw on the rear diff cup that was backing out. At first I had thought I had stripped the rear diff gears but luckly I just had to tighten that screw and add some locktite. I then added locktite to many of the bottom screws and some of the suspension that screw metal to metal. Overall quality is just unbeatable for the price.

Got the kit version. The car is FANTASTIC! Best value 4 money car i ever had! The build quality is amazing! I enjoy looking it, even when sitting on shelf. Driving is fantastic. I run it on 4s (120amp esc & 1400kv motor) and it is very fast and sharp. It is amazing how much you get with that price. Way to go hobbyking!

Parts not available

I bought this as they made improvements to the original version.
However, I bought a load of parts for it and half of them were on backorder, been waiting 2 months for the order but nothing was back in stock.
I contacted Hobbyking and an agent called Diane has told me that they will not be getting the parts that were on backorder, they will not be receiving any more of those items.
Now I am unsure whether she has simply got it wrong and misunderstood me.
Personally parts are a pain to acquire as lots is always out of stock and this happens to all the cars they release, You would have thought they would double up the stock every time they replenish or at least have a more consistent supplier.
Save your money and buy a bigger known brand at least parts are more accessible.
Apart from spare parts everything else I have purchased has been top notch, Apart from one dead ESC which they replaced.

Very nice kit for the price. Only major thing worth considering is the fact that the screws and nuts are of a pretty poor quality. But hey, I've always upgraded to stainless 4A fasteners on my RC's anyway.
Another drawback is the battery tray. Who on earth came up with the idea of a battery tray that is only 145mm long when there is as much room as there is? Also, it would have been nice if the motor mount had included provisions for 4mm screws and 25.4mm hole spacing. I made this mod to my car as I run a NEU 1527 motor and that runs a wider-than-540 mount style.
One of the great things are that done right, you can run this thing on 10S. There's room for a very long motor, and with a few easy mods, a 56 diameter motor could fit. There's room for running a motor that is 4.25" long, so don't settle for a 4082, when you can do better. A 4092 or 40106 is perfect for this truggy. Not only can you make it blisteringly fast if you want, but you can also choose to run on 4S but with super low temps and a super high efficiency for long run times. A 4092 or 40106 1200-1500 kv motor is what this needs. I managed to fit a MAX6 ESC and my MGM fits as well. With the stock battery tray, you can still get over 5000 mAh while keeping your power pack under 675 grams. Not bad at all.
In kit form, it's a great car and a steal for the price.
