ABS is a fantastic plastic for mechanical real world use prints where a durable item is required. It has some give under stress making it perfect for multirotor frames and gears. ABS also has a higher melting point making it more suitable for some applications.
For printing with ABS it is recommended to have a heated print bed or Kapton Tape for proper bed adhesion. ABS can also have a slight odor when printing so a well ventilated room is recommended, please note that it has no odor when the print is finished.
ABS is slightly harder to get dialed in unlike PLA, but once set up the printing is consistent and the prints are truly real world useable. Other popular uses for this material are R/C spare parts, building blocks and toys for the kids.

Printed on my Original Prusa I3 mk2s at 235c. The filament itself is quite runny. I ran it quite cool with a 10% fan after the 1st layer. It prints flawlessly! Even better it acetone smooths amazingly! highly recommended!This prints very well. Smooth and strong. Had no problem getting it to stick to kapton tape with glue stick. This is a bargain.Nice filament, havent had any problems with it yet but you need to print it in an enclosure with a bed temp of about 100 degrees and between 235 and 240 degrees extruder temp with abs juice on a glass bed. Don't forget to use it in a well ventilated room or suck the vapours out of the enclosure out of a window! I am using a small 60mm fan on 7 volts and a vacuum cleaner hose to suck out the vapours while maintaining a steady temp inside I am using a malyan m150 i3 with 40mm/s printspeedbon abs, qualité plus que correct pour le prix, et toujours une livraison rapideLovely stuff this. First few prints with my UpMini at standard temps has given excellent results, time to order a few more colours.Previously I have been printing with PLA. I ordered this ABS to try if I could get it working on my printer. So this is my first experience with printing ABS. I had quite some issues to get descent print which turned out where due to the fillament. I have a lot of cracking and popping sounds comming from my extruder which us caused by air trapped in the fillament. If you cut a section of it lenghtwise you can actually see the airbubble inside and even some matellic parts. These are the marks of poor quality. So as long the quality doesn't improve KEEP AWAY from this.
