Real aluminum. Nice foil to shield out heat. For example you can use it on places like firewall, inside/under the cowl or gas engine's CDI cable wraparounds. With this tape material, it will be easier to clean up oil mess from nitro and oil slick discharged from gas engines. I find it a little thin. Will work better for me if it is slightly thicker! Perhaps some people may find the thickness suitable for their applications.
