Armattan FPV Morphite X155 Frame

The FPV Morphite is a true unibody X quad made of 3mm carbon fiber and has a wheel base of 155mm. It is extremely light coming in at only 56g making it a very fast and agile flier. This quad comes with a MRP POD designed by Florent. This POD is specifically designed as a housing your FPV camera and video transmitter. Small frame

Mar 23, 2018

So just received, first impression very nice is visible that is a good product.
Do not iclude anymore the PDB without 12v and 5v is no sense.
For a clean build i recommend 4in1 esc.
I will com with new updates after flight

OK but not perfect

Nov 10, 2017

Using this frame for a 3" build with a little extra space. 248g without VTX/Cam but with 850mAh, 3S Graphene and DYS 1306-4000KV.
Bought it for the name and warranty.
It is made for 2 PCBs only, and you can't really substitute plastic spacers, as they would break in case of crash. So you need aluminium spacers and longer screws. FPV cage will not fit with my spare screws with slightly higher heads. With included parts I could not fit an RX in the stack with my 20A 4in1 w/ BEC and my F4 FC. So used longer spacers in the middle.
There are holes for pillars to hold a larger FPV tower, so they open up an extra option.
OK as a standard frame, but with the video stack it looks vulnerable. I will make/print a frame to hold my battery and cover the screw heads below. If you use velcro on battery+quad, there is less risk of screw heads damaging battery.

TOTALLY USELESS: don't buy this!

Is there an engineer at Armattan? I doubt it... Motors holes are 2.3mm wide, as all serious motors (even in small sizes) have 3mm screws (quite standard). The 4 screws retaining the PDB and FC protrude outside the frame (not sunken heads, cylinders instead) so you can be sure you will damage your battery in case of hard landing. The PDB doesn't contain any BEC (5V and 12V, or AT LEAST 5v), so please buy one separate and try to insert it somewhere in such a small frame. The "FPV Pod" is also a joke, not compatible with ANY standard camera or ANY standard 5.8 GHz TX.

Awesome little frame...

Built mine with naze32, littlebee 20A, DYS 1806-2700kv, 4in blades, 4S - is a little rocket :)
