Have used it 6 months with no problems. Using a 3S 1000 mah lipo, 20 amp ESC, and 5 X 5 prop and motor stays cool even during aggressive flights. Recommend and will buy again if needed.

These motors are great. I have used them in many project from boats to airplanes and quadcopters. They run great on 3s and 2s spinning 6x5 and 5x3. Motors is very well constructed and I really like the pcb type thing for connecting motor wire also it in sure that no wire coming from the winding's break off. The motor mount isn't very good, normal servo screws that I use for mounting to firewalls are to big. The head of the screws are usually to big. The way they could eliminate this is by making the mount just a little bit bigger bit thats the only down side of these motors.

This motor is one of the worst I've ever bought, right out of the jacket the bearings (if any) were wobbly. This was confirmed when I wired it up as a pusher motor for a small wing. Noisy and rattly. Replaced it with a motor from elsewhere. Unusual for HK to ship such poor quality gear.

I purchased these motors with the intention of fitting them to my Lorax hex. Instead, I've fitted them to a Tarot TL200A mini 200mm frame instead. With 5x3 three leave props and a 3s 1500mAh lipo, she flies very smooth and stable. I had to cut down the shafts to reduce hight plus vibration which seems to have worked well. I think they are a great little motor and quite powerful.

Terrible quality. Vibrates like mad even without a prop on.
Currently trying to figure out why it is so bad.

Motor vibrates like mad (no prop / adapter on)
So unbalanced, and makes it 10x worse when a prop is on. This is a bad cost for this quality of motor.
Will remove and check all the clips etc see if something has come loose.
