Description

Highly scaled, large size EPO ARF aerobatic fighter jet with a big 90mm EDF system. The Alpha EDF jet comes mostly pre-built and includes a 90mm EDF fan unit.

This well detailed and strikingly painted EPO foam jet uses a 90mm ducted fan unit to provide fast throttle response and a high top speed.

This ARF model has many special features, such as being retract ready, carbon reinforced wings and flaps for great slow-speed handling. The canopy uses a spring loaded latch system that ensures a secure fit, and is easily removable to change batteries.

This is an ARF model, so you will need to add your own electronics such as motor, ESC, servos, retract system and radio gear. The Alpha includes landing struts w/wheels that can be fit to which ever retract system you choose for this model. It will accept mechanical or electronic retracts with ease. It also includes all required hardware such as screws, control rods w/clevis and control horns.

This is hands down the best flying foamie edf I have ever built it is so stable rolls are arrow straight it has a. Very good glide ratio and it is large so it commands attention. It could use better gear but the stock units will work ..my alpha clocks at 112 mph my setup is. 160amp hv turnigy delux esc with Dr.madthrust 1620kv motor. 92mm taft 11blade edf unit. On a 6s 6000mah 25-50c nano tec.....best jet ever dont Miss out it is truley a joy to fly

It flies great. Could do with the cog being slightly further forward as it behaves a little nose heavy with the cog from the manual. I worked out the wing area to be 34 sqdm and using 8S 4500mAh packs my auw was just under 3 kgs so quite a low wing loading. Landing gear included were rubbish, mains kept breaking as there is only a grub screw preventing the axles from rotating. I'm now using a dolly so saved a bit of weight by not needing retracts

Received double boxed and in perfect order. Foam is EPO and kit is very good quality and is a model that will last. Landing gear has suspension, must suply your own retract system. Paint finish is very good and scale detail top notch! Great size for the club or park flying.
