these Dr. Mad Thrust EDF's are nice quality and put out a lot of thrust.....this is the 3rd size I have bought and they all perform greatnot bad at all. .................................love the 11 blades whoopsRunning very smoothly and powerful. very nice EDF unit. Will use it in a sapac ViperJet (same as HK fiberglass 70mm viperjet) but as I saw that plane isnn't the best plane to land on our tarmac only runway. if I do a poopoo I will get an rc lander hawker hunter frame for a daily flyer.I just installed this and the reverse rotation version into my LX mig-29. I went with the yep 100 because they were on sale with a buddy code. Full throttle in the model esc or motor did not get hot. Only get about 2 min with two of these hooked up to a 4500 35c zippy and esc cuts out due to low voltage. The model weight went up to over 9 lbs! The model gets almost 1 to 1 thrust ratio. I would say 95pcnt so I'm guessing this thing puts out about 4.5 lbs of thrust (I'm sure I'm loosing some due to poor ducting.) I have not been able to maden in FL due to weather and bad work schedule. These fans sound more like the 7 blade edf's than my other 11 blade dps 2200kv edf. Due to weight I think I'm going to put these into lighter single edf models with no gear. A steal at this price.Below are the products you purchased in the last 45 days.
