The item was well protected in shipping and arrived undamaged
Required assembly of rudder, turn fin, drive shaft and soldering of XT60 to ESC. ESC and motor terminal were pre soldered.
The boat ran really well on its first run, although the ESC and motor get quite hot even using in complete stock configuration. The ESC became unreliable after the second run, turning on/off of its own accord and even going into reverse when giving forward command. i think it is a cheap piece of s$$t. I am now sourcing a new one. 2 stars off for not providing a quality ESC to finish off this otherwise excellent boat. Like putting a lawnmower engine into a Mercedes.
Bit painful having to tape the curved surface/edge hatched down compared to straight edges on most other boats.
Other than crap ESC, very happy with this boat.
