I crashed my Stinger 64 into a concrete light post and was looking for a new model to fit the 64mm EDF. I ran across the Flyjet and was happy with the low cost. The Stinger flew OK with the 64mm EDF, but in the Flyjet it was a BEAST!!! I suppose the aerodynamics are just cleaner and thinner profile, but it is like a rocket! It's no joke about the CG. Be sure to balance each time (I use 1500, 1800 & 2200 3S) you change anything about the weight. Too tail heavy and it will get SUPER touchy. Too nose heavy and you'll be holding the stick all flight long. This is a great model, that glues together easily. All the parts fit great & the foam is very durable. I'm ordering another because I drove mine into a tree and miss it that much. Really enjoyed this model. Make sure you have elevon mixing or Y cable.

Super rapido con la motorizacion apropiada y capaz de volar lento tambien, los aterrizajes son una pasada....planea la pista completa sin problemas.

this is a great plane just remeber to add a little up elevator .as she tends to fall fast on launch with elevator at zero ,think its called deflection .

The product looks fine and finishing is good.

The flight characteristics SUCK when using a regular pusher motor.

I've put in a 2350KV motor with 4S to get some speed.

No matter what I did with the CG, the nose wants to dive down.

Eventualy I've cut down the EDF tunnel to just a mounting ring for the engine and NOW it flies straight.

Probably a great plane for EDF engines but standard not for a pusher engine....

Just be aware.

This is a fantastic plane for the money! I'm running mine with the mercury alloy 4700kv aluminum edf unit from HK, with a 4s 3300 35c nano-tech. This thing tears up the sky! Awesome fun, and sounds spectacular. Very easy to assemble, needs a little modification to fit the fan in, but not much. Very good quality foam. Use magnets for the turtle deck front and back. Recommend cutting the turtle deck shorter to mount esc in the air flow.

Here is my review. My second setup: Hobby King 64mm Alloy EDF 4000kv - 850w (4s - Outrunner version) 23, - ; Birdie 50A Brushless ESC w / BEC 3A 9.80, 2 x 9g servos 12, - ; Flyjet X 83 34, - and came out with the latest GPS measuring 183 km / h! All this for under 80, - . Highly Recommended! Using a 4S 2200er 40C Lipo!

In late March I received a copy of this plane. Opening the box I found that were two wings of the same side, the right and therefore the left wing was missing. I claimed that same day at Hobby King and continued to claim (every 15 days) during this time, but the truth is that day today (6/23/2012), 3 months later, I have not received the wing that I lack. My view is that customer service is abysmal. (I am a platinum member and I spend between 200 and 300 euros per month in HK)

A finales de Marzo recibi un ejemplar de ste avin. Al abrir la caja me encontr que venan dos alas del mismo lado, el derecho y por tanto me faltaba el ala izquierda. Reclam ese mismo dia a Hobby King y he seguido reclamando (cada 15 dias) durante ste tiempo, pero lo cierto es que a dia hoy (23/6/2012), 3 meses despus, no he recibido el ala que me falta. Mi opinin es que el servicio postventa es psimo. (Soy miembro platino y me gasto entre 200 y 300 euros al mes en HK)

this edf is fantastic i run the 3500 edf with 1800 4s and wow nothing can touch it on performance my mates envy me and just stand back in awe need to pit metal gear servos in due to power. i am ordering another soon as back in stock aus. mick from ozz !
