    The Fw 190 D-9 has the colorful markings of JV44 "Papagei-staffel" (parrot squadron), so named because of the bright red and white stripes on the bottom of the aircraft. This group flew cover over the Me-262 field at Munchen Riem, the bright colored bottom surface was so their own anti-aircraft crews would not target them.

    This is a highly detailed kit, with an ultra light hollow moulded foam construction and comes pre-painted as well as control surfaces pre-hinged.

    What you need:
    Motor: (Towerpro 24** / TURNIGY 28-** or equivilent)
    Battery: 1300mAh 3S (about this capacity)
    ESC: 18A
    Radio System
    Servos: 9g x 3 (HXT900 the perfect choice)
    Propeller: 9x6 (aprox)

    I got my plane yesterday. I have seen other Alfa models delivered from Hobbycity to other of our club members but now the packing was excellent. Doble box, bubble wrap and expanding foam inside the box. The plane arrived with a little damage due to mishandling, but over all good condition other than a few dings and dongs... I'll install a Turnigy 2820 1350kv brushless and HXT900 servos. I believe that with a 3cell 1350mah LIPO should be plenty to start flying. Very very nice looking plane with very good details.

    I've got this plane, and it live's up to the title "Best flying Alfa yet!" The CG can be a bit tricky, but once you have it, this plane is a dream. The biggest pain is decaling the underside of the plane, but if you take your time, and seal the decals, you'll be rewarded with a plane to show and brag about to your friends.
