The FrSky TW R6 is a 6-channel, dual 2.4GHz frequency receiver with SBUS/FBUS/S.Port, and 6 PWM channels. These TWIN series receivers feature a stable TW protocol that benefits from simultaneously integrating dual active 2.4GHz frequency bands. The TW active-active protocol is different from the general active-standby redundancy solutions used by other manufacturers. This is where one receiver takes over signal control only when the other goes into failsafe mode. With the TW protocol, the dual/twin 2.4GHz frequency bands on the TW series receiver are active all the time.
The TW R6 receiver has two 2.4GHz antennas, and the signal ports include both SBUS "In & Out" channels, and 6 PWM output channels. Another feature is that it supports telemetry functions through the use of FBUS and S.Port. By setting the TW R6 to use the FBUS protocol in the ETHOS system, the signal control and telemetry can be connected to any device that supports the FBUS protocol. This is through only one lead to achieve bidirectional transmission, it also simplifies the model build by using fewer wires.
