    Product Description

    The Goteck range of digital high torque low profile car servos are up there amongst some of the best for quality and reliability at a price that offers excellent value for money. The top and bottom cases are made from a high strength fiber reinforced nylon and the center case is CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, this acts as a very good heatsink for the motor and amplifier.

    The DC1511S offers a metal geared, low profile digital servo that has excellent torque and speed. Primarily designed as a car servo due to its low profile but it will be equally at home in all other types of models.

    It is a good rugged and fast servo, but it fails to meet torque specifications.
    I measured a maximum torque of 5.58kgcm @ 6V (it can lift 3.1kg at 18mm arm length, measurement done on two samples)
    The specification is 12kgcm @ 6V. This is more than a factor of 2 difference!
    The holding torque however is well above 12kgcm.

    Fantastic servo, extremely fast, precise and perfect centering. I'm using as aileron servos on my Skyline Corvus 60".
    I've had good experiences using car servos in my 3D planes, first Trackstar now the Goteck.

    I took a chance buying this servo for my 1/10 4wd buggy and have not been disappointed. It seems to be great quality and very fast. These will be my "go to" servos from now on. Thanks HobbyKing, just when I start to lose faith in you you come up with another gem.

    This Goteck DC1511S is my first goteck servo and there weren't really much info about how these fare so I didn't know what to expect but so it's good. Quality is great for the price and specs seems to be about right. Only time will tell how long lasting these are but so far I'm very happy.

    ottimo servocomand eccellente rapporto qualit prezzo, inoltre si dimostrato affidabile oltre che estremamente leggero, ha ingranaggi in metallo ed una buona velocit sicuramente alla stessa strequa di altri sevocomandi pi blasonati e che hanno un prezzo notevlmente superiore ottimo sulle 1/10 da competizione, ma trova applicazioni anche su automodelli in scala 1/8.

    I have bought this servo and use it on my mission drift chasis. Fast steering and good quality. I would say that this servo is as good if not better as expensive servo. Highly recommended for rc cars.
