2 ESC achetés pour monter une mountainboard électrique. Montés en 6S avec 2 SK3 213kv, le résultat est convaincant. Programmation facile avec la carte (vendue séparément).
Pour ceux qui se posent encore la question, non, il n'est définitivement pas étanche. Lorsqu'il est mouillé, il arrête tout simplement de fonctionner. Une fois sec, il fonctionne à nouveau nickel.
J'en ai déjà monté 6 en un an, et tous fonctionnent parfaitement. Je recommande ces ESC pour ce type d'utilisation, ils sont vraiment adaptés!

En 6s avec des moteurs sk3 213kv, le résultat est très convaincant !
Attention toutefois, il n'est définitivement pas étanche. Il s'arrête de fonctionner lorsqu'il prend l'eau. Une fois sec, s'est reparti...

Very good ESC - but needs some tweaks to get perfect

Very good ESC, smooth and no heat issues (4S & 2000kv in a GT8 chassis).
But first you have to change firmware (read programming card discussion).
I had problems with cogging as well but was fixed by settings timing to "very low" (used Advanced timing option on motor instead).
Excellent value!

Running this in a converted Kyosho Inferno with a Turnigy 1900KV Sensorless 4 Pole Brushless Motor, powered by 5s LiPos.
I'll start with the positives: Stays cool! Great value, nice quality, nice choice of settings, no cogging at all for me so far
Only two downsides for me: You can't remove the plastic case covering the fan (or I haven't figured out how to do it and there is no obvious way, and I am a pro at taking things apart usually!) and so cleaning out bits of dry grass or whatever junk sneaks its way into the heatsink becomes quite difficult. Over time gunk is gonna build up on that heatsink reducing its effectiveness, and I think when it comes time to really give it a clean, I'm gonna either have to spend hours fiddling around, or just straight up cut the plastic shroud off and glue it back together after, not ideal!
Second downside.. the Hobbyking ESC Programming card.... doesn't work with this ESC out of the box! I had to plug it in to my PC and change the firmware completely to another brands firmware! This was the biggest source of frustration, spending £10 on a card to make programming simpler, and then having go around the block to get it to even be compatible. I'll leave the same review on the Programming Card itself, but I think it also belongs here because you'd think a HobbyKing ESC and a HobbyKing ESC programming card advertised on the page of the ESC would be compatibile straight out of the box without needing to install ~another brand entirely's~ firmware!
That said, I still recommend this ESC. But for programming, just stick with the beeps!

Bougth this esc and mounted on my cousin 1/10 scale SCT with the 3665 turnigy motor 3190Kv on 2S Works like a charm and turns the SCT into a beast on 3S, acording to it´s name. Once again great product by Hobbyking.
