Hobbywing QUICRUN WP 1080 G2 80A 2-3S Brushed ESC designed specifically for 1/10 crawlers offers a high performance at a low price, it is extremely robust, reliable, and packed full of features. One of the major features which makes it ideal for crawlers is the "real car mode", this mode allows the motor to be switched in real-time. This mode will require a spare channel on your RC system with a 3-position switch. This will then allow you to select "forward with brakes", "forward with reverse and brakes", or "forward and reverse", this feature will provide the user with a unique driving experience like you have never seen before.

Other features are real-time drag braking, upgraded temperature control, water/dust-proofing to IP-67 standards, and a strong, powerful adjustable SBEC system. The real-time drag braking force also requires an extra RC channel, this will allow you to adjust the drag brake in real-time as you are driving. The latest design of aluminum heatsink provides much better heat control by reducing the operating temperature by around 15°C for improved reliability, there is also a fan mount if you require for even more cooling in extreme conditions. The IP-67 standard means it's splash-proof, water-proof, and dust-proof under normal use, however, it has not been designed to be permanently immersed in water for any period of time. The SBEC system is adjustable between the following voltages 6~7.4~8.4V, and can deliver 4A continuous current, or a peak current of 6A, more than enough to power most servos on the market including HV types.

Setting the 15 separate ESC parameters is very straightforward using the easy-to-use single set button, or the Hobbywing digital LED program card.
