The Mig 29 was designed in 1970's Soviet Era Russia as an answer to the F-15 Eagle. Known also as the "Fulcrum", this superb 4th generation Air Superiority Fighter was one of the first fighters to be able to perform the famous "Cobra" maneuver.
This gorgeous Mig 29 is finished in the colours of the Swift Aerobatic Team, the fuselage is a high gloss paint finish and the wings superbly covered to match. The wings and all moving tail are balsa construction while the fuselage is composite. Fixed under-carriage is supplied and it is also fully retract ready, meaning less time sweating with a file in your hand! There is plenty of room for Lipoly's, which is just as well with it being a twin and two high performance fans are also supplied.
Just like full size Mig, this EDF jet is designed for high performance, it is capable of blisteringly high speed with the right set up yet at the same time it has impressive slow speed performance, impress your flying buddies with rock steady high alpha passes and of course you have to throw in the odd Cobra! The H-King Mig 29 is one of our most impressive looking jet's yet and it flies as good as it looks!

First impression: The aircraft came undamaged in a double box. Really nice made painting, very glossy. All parts as described, no instructions. ( t.b. downloaded in net ) Over all more work to finish than it looks to be, but this aircraft is not a beginners plane, but one for the really experienced. On the first look, everything seems to fit in place as it should. Aircraft will be prepared for a "dolly" take of with bungee. 2 wheels will be "half in/half out mounted into the front part of the intakes, reinforced with carbon to avoid damage on intake front lips when landing. during build up and after first flight this commend will be updated.not impressed with this plane. Item arrived damaged.
once the plane was completed I had 2 x 4s 4000 lipos with the dps 68mm edf unit 1000 watts per unit and still could not get the jet off the ground. so I tried fitting big tyres and using 5s battery's on both edf units putting out around 1600watts each Which was still not enough power. very unhappy about this plane (failed project).Cuidado aos compradores.
Started assembling this plane over the weekend, using HK DPS series 68mm alloy fans instead of the supplied plastic units , you can unscrew the intake lip or grind it off to fit these fans .
Fired up the fans this afternoon Wow!! Using a 5800mAH 4s Zippy to power both fans the power was impressive had to hold the fuse really tight it wanted to go / launch. One snag, a near disaster was that the amount of intake pressure at high throttle was collapsing in the walls of the intake ducts and the inner fiberglass lining at the duct entrance peeled off the outer wall on both intakes, had pieces of this lining broken off it would have been good night to the fan rotor blades for sure . I had to epoxy this lining back onto the outta duct which was no big deal but I can still see the walls of the ducts being sucked inwards at high throttle settings .
Was about the only problem I had so far, it's an impressive looking model not really my color scheme but it looks really good with it's gelcoat like finish. This is an awesom looking airplane! just receved it today, the finish is really nice and hopfully it will be really quick! the only complaint i have is there were no instructions in the box, could somebody help me out? is there somewhere where i can download them online??Just ordered mine! Looks very slippery, and with a couple of 68mm air suckers installed, should make for some interesting flights. Might be worth noting that including the 7 recommended servos, two 60amp ESC's and the motors, came in at a shade under 200.00 GBP Delivered to the UK, watch this space, and I'll let you know how I get on!It looks better than HET, i have one ,and it cames only with tailerons. The HK mig 29 have ailerons on wings and a nice color scheme.
