This is a short shaft version of our popular28-26A 1000 motor. It is built with no external shaft allowing you to easily mount this motor to your multi-rotor frame without the need for any modification.
NTM Prop Drive motors are rock-solid performance outrunners with tight windings, quality bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced stator and flux rings plus they are QC checked at 14 points, from material processing all the way through to final dyno test.
Because we design and build these motors completely in-house (from 3D/2D drawing to materials sourcing, machining, balancing, final assembly and dyno) we can completely control production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping the product to you. The removal of middle-men has meant we can drive better value to the market and retail these motors at factory (our) prices! All performance figures are real and tested on our own motor dynos.
Our QC engineers check and balance each motor before shipping to the HobbyKing.com warehouse.

Tested with a 12x6 prop which delivered around 580g thrust at approx 130W from 11.1v.
This motor doesn't have the torque to drive this particular prop and as a consequence got extremely hot. Tested with two identical motors so doesn't appear to be a quality issue - it's probably fine with a 9" prop.
In contrast my similarly sized Keda 870Kv delivered 50g more thrust with less power draw.
I'm surprised the short shaft version of this motor doesn't come with the prop adapters because it's basically useless without them.... Unless you're using it as a gimbal motor.Super power and smooth performance, I am using these on a custom built 500 quadcopterNice motor. Suits my Yak-55 EPP well, a shorter shaft doesn't penetrate the fuselage. However I don't like HK selling a motor and accessory pack separately.Love these motors. Im running them on a 3S quadcopter with 30A Afro ESC's and haven't had a single issue with them yet. They provide plenty of thrust (much more than I needed) and make for a very well performing copter. Only issue I've found, you must purchase motor mounts and prop adapters separately, and the shaped mount that the motor sits on is a little weak and will often bend in crash landings. Simple fix though, hit it with a hammer and straighten it out.weak. fried after 1 hour usage , instead, get a 2630 @22A max= more powerNice n shiny finish, good covering. Fantastic item, I use it all the time in all places and electronicsFantastic motor for is weight but you need to pay attention, it'a a short shaft version, the same exists at same price with a 41mm shaft or you need a separate shaft at low price.Nice Motors and priceottimo motore /qualit prezzoNice motors they spin up rather quietly and quickly and with a lot power with afro 20A ESCs on the 450 quad I have them on
