Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival but surpasses the quality of many leading motor manufacturers on the market today.
The result is an efficient, high caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time. The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a quality brushless motor without compromise.

Very solid little motor. I have a few of these. High quality. Connections are solid and heavy duty. Box contains motor mount and prop adapters. The motor by itself (without a prop) is nearly silent even at high rpm. I am completely satisfied with this product.SK3 Motors are very good quality and nicely machined for a reasonable price. Highly recommended product. have several of them in use and all are working perfectly.having some trouble getting power from this motor. but dont use on a 4s as its to sluggish. i was only making 270 watts on 4s on a 14x10 at 16amp,haha. best results go for 6s on a 14x10 im now getting 810watts at only 35 amp. i did try a 18x6 on a 4s and made 400watts at only 25amp but i dont have the ground clearance for this. all in all ive given this motor hell and it just keeps smiling at me. sk3 all the waygood quality. runs almost vibrationless. no-load current is as low as 1.55amps at 24v. unfortunately, as always, rear mount spins not concentric, inducing virbration when used. this is rather inacceptable for a high performance high value motor as sk3 series. please hk, get this fixed and get rid of the fancy packing. no one wants to spend money on feeding his trash can.Excellent motor! With 6S LiPo and 13x10 prop it produces well more than 4 kilo static thrust at 35A. This motor is going in a HK Katana 50E, so I wanted to get an idea of how it would run. Tests are on 6s, 2200mah 40C packs.
14x8 - 8200rpm, 1040W, 21.25V, 46A
13x10 - 8400rpm, 840W, 21.5V, 39A
The motor is packaged very nicely (normally doesn't excite me, but this looked kinda special!)
Motor looks to be high quality and runs very nicely. Based on the results, the resistance of 26 mOhm looks good, and Kv somewhere around 420.
Will update with results when I've flown the 50E.
