lowest rating possible. none of the features work. screen is too dim to see, blade set does not work, tach does not work, backlight does not work. i would rate it lower than one star if i could. return postage costs more than it is worth to take a chance on getting another one that might or might not work.

Here a very good tool. Its very simple to use. I have one and it in my toolbox most a year. The more important about that is very easy and fast to use. just press one button and go to your propeller type...ready to use!

for 60 Hz it should indicate 60(cycles/second)x60(seconds/min)=3600 rpm = 360 on the LCD. Fine product, just a word of caution: if you use it to measure RPM on non-uniform colour propeller (such as the yellow-black main blades of HK-450) the readings are not to be trusted.

I did wonder why it shows exactly 3000 1/min with a 50Hz lamp on 2-prop. but the sinus counts as 2 so it works out that way to check the function. 3000/60= 50Hz

It does work well provided that you expose the rotating blade/part to sunlight (direct or indirect). Measure seems to be accurate. Very good price and quality.

Very good digital tach. Re-branded from Hangar 9 Micro Digital Tach. Easy to use under sunlight. Holds 6 to 18 ins. away from spinning prop and multiply the measured value by 10.



Press once to switch ON and measures 2 blade prop, press twice for 3 blade prop, press trice for 4 blade prop and press 4 times to OFF.
