More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious peformance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

I've got two of these for use on a DJI F550 Hexcopter. I've found them to be reliable and a good weight/power ratio. My craft uses 15A ESC's, DJI motors, has a Zenmuse gimbal, mini iOSD and Boscam Tx. AUW is roughly 2.3kgs with 1 of these batteries and I get 11 - 12 mins flight time safely in low wind days, and could push it out to 13-14 mins if I wanted to drain the battery to 11.1v. I've used these 30 - 40 times and only minor concern is sometimes when cell balance charging I get a cell error. This is often fixed by turning the charger off and back on again. I'm assuming it is the battery as I have other batteries where this error doesn't occur. It could be due to the fact that the C rating on these batteries is much more than I require and I've read that ideally you want to be operating at about 75pcnt of the C rating. It works out to about 30pcnt for my F550. Certainly no concerns in flight, so I recommend this product for the F550.

This is a 3S2P pack. It consists of 6 Li-Po cells, but gives 11,1(12,4) Volts.
Great ratio of capacity & weight, but sadly the acks loose their capacity very quickly.
After two years of using it in a plane (max current 45A) and never charging it above 0,8C the pack lost almost 40pcnt of it's capacity. That's actually quite bad for a pack in that price.

What a battery. The capacity and power delivery are massive. I have this in my Slash 4x4 that is running an HW SC8-WP powering a Turnigy TrackStar 2560kv motor. Other LIPOs had proven lacking in that they just couldn't keep up with the power demands, and would trip the LVC quickly despite them having plenty of power left. This LIPO however doesn't seem to even break a sweat. Balances perfectly as well.

Just remember that you WILL need the extended battery retainer on a Slash 4x4.

I bought two of these batteries, one so far untested, and the other which has virtually no practical use. It is a 3S2P battery, with six individual cells arranged as three sets of paralleled pairs. At least one of the cells is faulty, with a discharge profile that results in one of the pairs reaching a very low voltage before all the others (at about 3.8v per pair one pair drops rapidly to well below 3.0v), this effectively causes further damage to the other parallel cell and renders the battery unusable. Due to the very dubious returns policy for lithium polymer batteries I am also unable to return the pack for either a refund or exchange. Very disappointed by both the quality of the battery which is not low cost, and the returns policy. My advise, don't buy this product.

ho provato questa batteria molte volte sotto la mia buggy 1/8, sono molto contento perch fa andare la macchina molto forte e dura tantissimo praticamente il doppio di una lipo 5000mah, cos mentre i miei amici si devono fermare per cambiare la batteria io posso continuare quanto voglio.fantastica!

Tested on my FPV Skywalker 1900, works great, more than 1 hour flying time, good quality lipo. about 10amps cruise...

Despite de extra weight the plane can also flight thermals very well

I think this lipo is specialy designed to skywalker 1900 FPV plane, and is excelente for tail heavy (very common problem of this plane).-
