very happy with this plane .take off stable ,easy landing .not too much power for 3 d but i will put 40 amp and recommended 1040 kv turnigy motor for a little more power . this is the nicest plane i've ever flown .very solid epp unbrakable .very responsive controls .put video on youtube . 2200 mah 3s is perfect . thanks hobbyking ! 10 min flying no problem ! nice glider too .

flew my new mustang to day, had four flights ,made a few changes to
the controls was real fun to fly added 1 oz to the tail for balance

Great all around plane. Proper balance needed for good 3D flying (a bit more tail heavy than stated specs). Landing gear insert area a bit weak mine broke easily. On low rates flies smooth almost trainer like. Very pleased with this purchase... bought another one!

We purchased two of these for dog fighting but we have been having too much fun trying 3D to get around to the aerial combat.

Well packed and reasonable instructions. It assembled quickly and with out too much pain, it has the usual EPP flat slab requirements of cutting slots to hide your cables.

The 30 amp recommend ESC is to close to the limit with a 1045 prop, use a 40 plus amp ESC. We ran 9038 to get around the issue in the short term. If you are using larger MG servos make sure you have at least 5 amps available on the UBEC circuit.

On the field it flew nicely with no trimming, snap rolls well and very quickly, very short take offs, high alpha is good. It can hover but I am still a beginner so that is my current limit. Dual/Low rates are a must if you are not confident.

Eight minute flight times on the 2200 mah battery based on mixed throttle usage.

This one us five stars all the way. It goes together fast. My servos did not fit the ply frames, I suggest just put the servos in with hot glue. Secure the undercarriage and wheels, mine fell out.
Then it is just great After one flight it became my favourite plane. I must gave a hundred flights on it, and I have ordered a second one as a backup.
A friend with one had a series of crashes with no damage at all.

Again, five stars.
