Thank you to everyone who participated in May’s photo contest. This month we had no shortage of photos which ranged from unorthodox home creations, to various bold abstract captures. We are really loving all the photos as they never fail to show us something different and new about the Hobby. Seeing the passion oozing out from like-minded hobbyists is truly inspirational and motivates us to become even better!

Where Are You from And What's The Story Behind the Photo?
1) I'm from Portugal and I was away from the hobby for more than 30 years. My father and I used to fly all sorts of RC models from combustion engines to gliders, so he is really the one to "blame" for this "bug"! Only very recently one of my colleagues (also a client from HobbyKing) got me the itch for RC planes again, and once I found the wonderful world of RC foamies, I was hooked - I love the simplicity behind it!
What Is Your Favourite RC Model and Why?
2) I now own 3 models from HobbyKing, the Tundra V2, Voltigeur, and bought a beautiful Asw28 Glider last month. It's very hard for me to choose one because each has its own specific use, but for the sake of all-around performance and a "one can do it all" model, it has to be the Tundra. It's great fun, it can do some cool aerobatics, slow flight, lands everywhere with no complaints...and those flaps, just awesome!
What Is the Best Part of Being an RC Pilot and Why?
3) Nothing like a good flight to free us from our daily life's stress, it's very calming for me especially when flying my ASW 28 Glider on a late afternoon by sunset, truly "ZEN" ~~~
