    Product Description

    YEP ESC series offers a super smooth linear throttle response making them exceptional fixed-wing and helicopter ESCs.  The features offered in this ESC are only matched by the most expensive European brands at a fraction of the cost. The super-smooth soft start, along with its ultra-high-resolution throttle response puts this ESC in a class of its own!

    YEP ESCs are built with the highest quality components to ensure true-to-rating current handling and high-efficiency operation. Although quality is a tag line mentioned by many manufacturers you'll notice the difference the moment you remove the YEP ESC from the box. 
     
    All YEP ESCs can be programmed via an optional programming card or by transmitter stick inputs.

    • ESC had separate programming lead built-in so there is no need to unplug from RX
    • Super fine throttle resolution provides first-rate and highly accurate linearity

    • Adjustable F3A brake.  
    • 3 steps adjustable normal EMF brake  
    • High anti-interference capability
    • Low voltage cut-off protection with automatic adjustment for NiCd/NiMH/Li-Ion/LiPo/LiFePO4  
    • Soft cut-off option at low voltage slows motor RPM gradual rather than hard cutoff (LVC)
    • Low voltage cut-off can be disabled  
    • Variable cut-off voltage / cell    
    • Active free-wheeling circuit allows for unlimited "partial load" capability
    • LED status display  
    • Adjustable motor timing from 0° to 30°  
    • Blocked rotation protection (senses a jammed motor and stops motor rotation)  
    • Over-temperature protection and overload alarm  
    • Anti sparking circuit: reduces connection sparks 
    • Throttle signal loses protection. If the signal is lost for 3 seconds, the power will automatically cut-off.  
    • Safe power-on. (Motor will not start until throttle is returned to lowest position)

    Excellent ESC for 12S powered EDF.

    Good ESC for most applications using 12S Lipo's. I have used this ESC for many years now on my EDF jets on 12 S with about 100A current at full battery load. Just make sure it sits in the cooling airflow.

    Worked great on 12s in 1.8m helicopter (gov mode - great stability) until burn-thru in 3rd flight for no obvious reason; filed claim and got replacement; not yet re-fitted since reluctant since forced landings are not to my liking.
    Great com and service from KH though.

    Bought 2 of these after getting the first one and using the programing card to set it up, using one on a rotomax 50cc on 12s, the other will be used in a F4U with rotomax 1.60 10s. I do like these, once familiar with the card and settings very good product.

    A esc sold, must can work whit every motor if not it should peep peep but never ever burn out in a sec . this esc is even for plane and heli motors.
    i burned 3 pieces in 1 sec. even motor whas still good after testing i thit replace it by a new xpwr 40 just to be extra shure, last esc also thit burn out. now i installed a new castle creations no problem at all.
    So mebe it can work good but overal this esc is just to specific for what motor it can yoused on and componets are really at the low side.
    I also have a hobbywing 120A 12cell that whas sold by hobbyking under the brand K-force but it is a real hobbywing just rebranded.
    And if i inspect it it has also A quality components.
    I think a small yep is possible to youse in a project but will never ever buy this yep 120A ever again.
