Was surprised at the quality of this kit as some can be a bit iffy.Fitted an OSfs56 with alloy mount and a separate nicad pack up front for the retracts.Didnt need extra weight up front
to get CG right.Maiden flight yesterday and just needed some down trim.Plenty of power
using a 13x6 prop and flies very nicely on half throttle.I was worried about landing as I have read they are prone to tip stalling.No problem and was very stable for a perfect three pointer.Fantastic.

Ordered Tuesday arrived Saturday excellent delivery service Unfortunately one wing tongue was broken off the Right wing on opening the box and omly some of the bits were in the box so have to assume was broken on packing as the was only a small indentat

A Great kit and very good finish and assembly arrived via DHL in 4 days half way arouind the world.. Standard servos fit perfectly and powering with an NTM 42/38 motor. . Some damage was sustained which I was disapointed with as the front wing tongue was broken off the right wing and only some of the pieces were in the inner box so have to assume was not broken in transit but in packing. I can fix with some difficulty but the only thing I can fault in the kit. Everthing fits perfectly and hardware and fittings are of excellent quality.. I am realy enjoying puting it together and fitting the gear. Great Value for money.

Another VQ models HK re badge job... could be a canvas for a bit of "stand away far off' scale".. airbrush weathering. Wish the 46 size Hurri had the split flaps like the 60 size VQ Hurricane..just for a bit of extra add on stand far off scale.. even tho the 46 size doesn't need them for landing.
Might wait for the $112 "special" to come out in 3 months once HKs warehouse stock starts to stack up to the roof....like the VQ FW190 and the other VQ badge / HK clones.
Makes a change to Spitfires , Spitfires, Spitfire and Mustangs at the field .....
Who will be first to build a sea Hurri-Cat catapult launcher...hahaaaaa.
