Brilliant esc very good,ive bort like 3 of these,easy too setup/program,great on 2/3s lipo.
Just dont cross battery wires like my friend did cooked it.5stars

Died on Second use

Had nice power delivery and smooth curves. Died on second use in damp grass, I know its not listed as waterproof but this was just damp grass, feel quite let down, this is my second ESC from hobbyking which died in short succession (first was credited without any problems)

So quick shipping!! 10/10,Great escs too.
Just becareful not to reverse the battery wires cos there is no polarity protection,it will cook the esc.
Other than that,these escs are re-branded hobbywing xcar escs,they work with hobbywing programming card and hobbywing software for pc.,but you must get the usd adapter for the esc too use the software.so the quality is right up there! 10/10

Firstly, i can't fault hobbyking, i had two of these and both were faulty, hobbyking sent a replacement straight away and when that didn't work they issued a refund, it's a pity because i really fancied the turbo setting.
I put this in my traxxas 4tec 2.0 so it wasn't being worked very hard. Now i run a castle sidewinder and it's perfect. You get what you pay for i guess, this won't stop me having a lot of faith in hobbyking just on this occasion it didn't work out. Top marks hobbyking though for their customer service.

The product functions without any problems and performs solidly. The throttle reverse could be inproved, because it is not instantaneous to protect the motor. Overall the product is great based on basic testing

Really great and great value for the money! But big minus that you can’t reverse the Motor via ESC !!!
