Description

TURNIGY XK motors are without question one of the best motors on the market today. It all starts in our very own factory where we install precision bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced rotors, tool-steel shafts and stators that are wound by hand. We rigorously test each and every component at 14 critical points during construction, testing everything from materials all the way through to final performance tests.

Because we design and build these motors completely in-house we control the production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping. We removed the middle-man to bring you factory prices while not sacrificing quality or performance.

Reasonable price & good motor combine with HK esc 70a 435 prop 4s 5000mah 40c, My F1 rocket power faster than tenshock F1!! Even Hydrotek F1 combine with HK esc 50a 2200mah 40c prop 435 faster than stock motor.. you will be satisfied!! recommended item!!!

Over a year with this motor, still going strong. Mighty powerful motor in my proboat impulse 27 deep vee. Running a good 60a marine esc along with a water cooling jacket. Everything runs cool on 2s-4s, no thermal cutoffs yet. It is insanity on 4s and pushes my boat hardware to the limit : ) I am not a fan of the sharp edges at the top of the can, they like to slice the orings on cooling jackets in stock form.

Running with overcurrent on speed ac. But only a few secons full power each run. 4S Bolt battery and 4,75x4,75 is some over 35.000RPM,. Perfect, but due to currents of around 80 Amps only a few seconds power and then cool down again. Will surely not last long under this condition. But quality is really good. If you run it in specs it will perform long and reliable.

Just received and "dry ran" the motor. Even without no load the moter gets quite hot after few seconds and after 40 seconds I stoped as it got to hot to hold in hand. Infrared measurment showed 70 C on the outer case. Obvious notable vibrations might also kill the bearings within a short period of time.
Setup 4S drawing appox. 2,5 A no load current meaning approx 42 Watts.
No load testing done so far but i wonder if this makes sense with a motor boils even without load. Not convinced of the value of the motor so far.
