A really nice reasonably fast warmliner. Handles exceptionally well. Someone remarked about visibility and I agree having painted mine red upper surfaces and fuselage. On occasion have had the ESC drop out due (I think) to overheating. Having the ESC in very close proximity to the battery isn't a great idea but difficult to suggest another location. As for price I think it is actually cheap for what you get in a good quality foamie. More speed from a genuine hotliner costs much more guess how I know?

This warm/hotliner is a BLAST!! It zooms straight up to a speck in 8 seconds... then cut the throttle and looks for thermals... it will lift if they are strong enough. You get about 5 min of batter time with lots of full throttle zoom climbs. She flies SO nice... smooth and no bad habbits... this one is a NO brainer and a blast. It assembles easy and will fit back in the original box pretty easy. Quality and fit is amazing and motor esc are barley warm at landing. VERY HAPPY!

The plane for the money is good, but the body behinde the main wing is fragile, its a little bit heavy and slow. If you want speed then the efx is a much better plane.

Came in record time. Well packed. However did not notice any side protectors. Literature stated that these would be included in the box. No big deal though because I most likely would not have used them anyways.

Excalibur v2 è un ottimo aliante sportivo in rapporto qualità/prezzo, motore molto potente, esc leggermente sovradimensionato, elica con un bel diametro e con del passo, sono caratteristiche che lo rendono molto performante e divertente da pilotare, esteticamente molto bello, il V tale lo rende veloce ma meno preciso nelle manovre, uniche note non del tutto positive sono i soliti servi un po’ economici e il suo peso , gli atterraggi sono sempre un po’ lunghi, difficile farlo rallentare, non è un modello da principianti.

This is a second purchase of an excellent airplane! Haven't flown it yet due to illness but looks great!!

This review is about Customer Service and product support! This was my first experience with this department of HK and they are excellent!
The plane was riddled with faulty everything, Speed controller, one elevator servo and one ailerons servo!!!
At first we went at problem resolution on a piece by piece basis, seemed logical right :-)
Finally after numerous attempts Customer Service said, this is silly, just send Scotty a whole new airplane, which they did and it arrived three days ago!!!
I will do future business with Hobby King!!!

Great intermediate or advanced Airplane

First things first: This Excalibur 2 is a lot of fun, very fast, eats up the sky, comes really well assembled, and I love it. As the headline indicates, it's not a beginner's plane. Mostly because it is fast and needs some room to land. I take it to several of my flying sites. It's pretty sweet!
One little suggestionif I may for V3: Little pins or similar to replace the two wing screws would make this a little easier to take everywhere! I'm always concerned when I install or remove the little screws that if I drop one (They are really tiny) I would not find it and would not be able to fly that day.

Vol agréable et facile, bonne maniabilité, silencieux, autonomie convenable avec une 2200 4s si vol cool. Bonne pénétration, pour une mousse. Problème, chez moi l'ESC se met en sécurité et coupe le moteur au bout de 5 minutes de vol (2 fois, 2 crash légers..)
