The ZOHD Dart 250G is the small brother to the popular Dart XL, it is the world's first high-end sub 250g FPV flying wing. With increasing regulations affecting our hobby, it offers an FPV experience without as much hassle as the bigger, heavier models. You will still need to check your country's regulations, some do require you to register a model airplane with a camera on it even when below 250g. The little Dart 250G offers incredible lifting power despite its size, excellent handling, and portability, which makes it the ideal choice for FPV flying in a small package. Features include an optimized airfoil, dedicated equipment bay for flight controller and GPS, nose camera bay, super durable Teflon-covered underbelly, protected leading edge to the wing, and so much more.
The Dart 250G has a swept forward wing for improved handling, lift efficiency, and yaw stability. It also has a computer-designed airflow pod that maximizes the cooling of all the onboard equipment to minimize overheating electronics and reduce the risk of failure. The vertical fins are detachable, making it much easier to transport to those out-of-the-way places for the best FPV experiences.
The Dart 250G has been designed specifically for FPV flying and is manufactured in tough EPP foam. The high-quality pushrod system provides an agile, and quick response to your control input commands. Another feature is that the servo arms have built-in protection on the wings to protect the servo in the event of a hard impact.
This is the kit version of the Dart 250G so it is just the basic airframe, you will require your own radio, motor, prop, ESC, servos, and battery. This allows you to choose the servos and power train that will suit the setup that you require. ZOHD recommended a 1406-2600KV motor driving 5x3 3-blade prop, 30A ESC, 9g servos, and a 3S 800~1500mAh LiPo battery pack, a 2S setup can also be used. Assembly is quick and simple, no gluing is required, the main wing and fins come with pre-applied 3M adhesive, just peel off the backing and assemble.
