    Product Description

    The H-King Crusader 30E is based on the classic stick design. This electric RC plane can be flown by both beginners and experts. It is constructed from lightweight ply and balsa that is painted with a high contrast color scheme. The Crusader will stand out on the ground and in the air at your local hobby club.


    This quality built balsa model not only looks the part but also delivers stable flying from low to top speeds. It doubles as an aerobatic RC plane for its capabilities to complete a full range of sport aerobatic maneuvers. The high-wing configuration along with its light but strong frame makes it an excellent choice as a beginner aerobatic trainer for people who want to break into the aerobatic scene.


    As an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly), there will be some assembly required. You will also need to install your power system and radio equipment. It is recommended that you run a 2216-980KV motor with a 30A ESC (with BEC) and a 10x5 propeller running on a 2200mAh 3S LiPo battery with your choice of radio and receiver. 9g servos provide ample control and will complete the fit-out.

    A real bargain for the bare bones airplane. You couldn't build and cover it for the price. It's now my most frequently flown airplane. I had a little problem fitting the vertical stabilizer but with some judicious trimming it went in and overall it is a quality airplane and flies really well.

    I built mine so overpowered that it takes off in less than 10 feet and has unlimited vertical capability! 50 amp ESC, Sunny Sky 2814 outrunner, Spectrum metal gear digital servos on a 4s 2200 battery. Capable of crazy aerobatics but can also be a gentle flyer. A great time tested design.

    Overall this is a nice kit for the money. I have bought two and both needed some shimming and work on the tail to get the horizontal stab square. Not a huge deal took about 30 minutes using minor modeling skills. On my second plane, the hatch is not flush, not just a little but a lot. It looks secure enough though. Still, not a bad kit for the money just needs some quality control and a little work.

    This is the second Crusader mini stick I purchase. The first was fantastic, unfortunately destroyed after so many experiments and stunts. With 2814-1000Kv brushless motor it is really good aerobat. I recommend this model for intermediate pilots.
