    Fitted this in a 1950mm wingspan Flair Corsair running 6S lipo and 100 amp esc it flies the plane fine on a 16x10 prop, although it seems to be underpropped and will be trying a 18x10 3 blade prop in it soon.

    Good motor but poor quality

    The 1st one of these I purchased lasted a while, but ultimately the motor shaft sheared off!!! I have been flying electric airplanes for +20 years and never had a motor shaft shear off. Overall I think the Turnigy motors are pretty good, but I do run into quality problems with these motors, good thing they cost less.

    This is the second one I have bought; the first one had faulty bearings and had to be replaced. This one runs smooth and quiet.
    17 x 8 prop and1680 Watts on a freshly charged 6 cell LiPo.
    Flies my 4.5 Kg plane around nicely at half throttle.
